Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and the French island of Martinique are two tropical destinations recently added to Disney Cruise Line’s itinerary for early 2016. The Tortola cruise will set sail from Florida and will include a stop at Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. In Tortola, families can swim with dolphins, explore ruins, sample local foods and take in the awe-inspiring sight of Sage Mountain National Park. Departures start in January and continue until April.
The Martinique itinerary tours the southern Caribbean. Families will visit rainforests, waterfalls and volcanoes, all while immersing themselves in Martinique’s rich French and Creole culture. There are four departures in January 2016. Rates vary and bookings are currently open for both cruises.
