Over the next several years, Universal Resorts guests will literally step into a larger-than-life Nintendo adventure. Through a creative collaboration, Nintendo and Universal have come together to incorporate the characters and adventure of Nintendo video games into all-new themed Nintendo environments at all three Universal theme parks.
“We are amazed at how the park developers are bringing the essence of our games to life in the real world,” said Shigeru Miyamoto, an executive at Nintendo. “I think Mario will feel like he finally came home.”
With that goal in mind, the Nintendo area in each of the three parks will be filled with immersive and interactive attractions, shops and restaurants, plus iconic Nintendo game features and, of course, Mario and all his friends.
Miyamoto says that the attractions will appeal to all ages, regardless of gaming experience.
