Run With the Minions at Universal Studios Hollywood

In 2019, Universal Studios Hollywood will launch a series of “Running Universal” Fun Runs, with an inaugural 5K race on May 11, featuring the mischievous Minions from the popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride.

Starting at Universal Studios Hollywood’s iconic front gates, participants ages 5 and up will be able to run — or walk — past the park’s immersive areas and attractions, as well as though parts of Universal Studios’ historic backlot. The event will offer an unprecedented insider’s view of the “Entertainment Capital of L.A.” 

Along the 3.1-mile course, participants will be cheered on by their favorite Universal Studios Hollywood characters, including the Minions. Then, at the finish line at Universal CityWalk’s 5 Towers outdoor concert stage, competitors will be rewarded with live music, food and, of course, Minion-themed swag.
