The Incredicoaster Anchors Pixar Pier at California Adventure

Pixar characters will take over the pier this summer at Disney California Adventure, and guests will have the chance to see the makeover of a classic coaster.

“Disney fans of all ages can experience Pixar stories and characters in incredible new ways along the reimagined Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure,” said Claire Bilby, senior vice president of sales, services and events for Disney Destinations.

The first new “neighborhood” on the pier, inspired by the Disney Pixar film “The Incredibles,” opens this summer with the Incredicoaster, a reimagination of the California Screamin’ roller coaster.

On the coaster, special effects and movie characters — including a 40-foot-long Mrs. Incredible — will bring the action to life as guests join the Parr family to catch baby Jack-Jack, who has escaped from his babysitter.

Disney Pixar’s upcoming film “Incredibles 2” opens in theaters June 14.
