Third Day Free Offer Returns at Universal Orlando

In January, Universal Orlando announced the return of its popular “3rd Day Free” promotion. For every two-day ticket purchased, travelers (who must be U.S. or Canada residents) will receive a third day free to explore both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

In addition to three days of access to the award-winning Universal Orlando theme parks, guests will also receive access to the daily live entertainment available at Universal CityWalk’s venues, such as Hard Rock Live, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and Bob Marley - A Tribute to Freedom. In lieu of the live entertainment at the CityWalk, park attendees can also upgrade by purchasing of a combination ticket to attend a showing of Blue Man Group instead.

The offer also allows guests to add the Universal Unlimited Express pass to their package. The Universal Unlimited Express pass allows park attendees to skip the long lines at several of Universal Orlando’s most popular attractions and rides, such as Revenge of the Mummy, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and Transformers: The Ride 3-D. The option to bundle the Unlimited Express pass is only available to those who have purchased a two-day park-to-park ticket.

The 3rd Day Free promotion is available for purchase from now until April 12, 2016. After the first use, the promotion is valid for the first two weeks from when the offer is first used. The incentive must be used in full by May 31, 2016. Currently, the 3rd Day Free promotion has no blackout dates and is also available in several of Universal Orlando’s vacation packages.

The price of a 2-Day Park-to-Park ticket is $219.99 per adult, not including taxes.

The park has unveiled 18 new guest experiences over the past five years, with more promised for 2016 and 2017. New attractions include Skull Island: Reign of Kong, which will be housed in Islands of Adventure; the new Loews Sapphire Falls Resort; and Universal’s Volcano Bay, a new water theme park that will be open to guests next year.
