Toy Story Hotel at Shanghai Disney

Disney recently released information about its new Toy Story Hotel at the upcoming Shanghai Disney Resort. The hotel will be inspired by the characters from the Disney-Pixar “Toy Story” series of animated films. The property, designed in an art-nouveau style with a touch of Disney magic and imagination, will be the signature hotel at Shanghai Disney. 

Overall, Shanghai Disney Resort will contain two themed hotels and a shopping, dining and entertainment district called Disney-town, which will feature entertainment at Walt Disney Grand Theatre. This art deco-style theater in Broadway Plaza will host the global premiere of the Mandarin version of “The Lion King,” the highest-grossing Broadway show ever. 

Disneytown will also contain food and shopping spots Marketplace, Spice Alley and Broadway Boulevard, as well as a central lake area.
