If you grew up wanting to be a skipper on Disney’s Jungle Cruise, you can officially cross it off your bucket list. On select dates through Dec. 2, guests will be invited to an exclusive Jungle Cruise breakfast in the wilds of Disneyland’s Adventureland. The Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of this world-famous attraction, and guests will also be trained to be Jungle Cruise skippers.
As the sun ascends over the savanna (or at 6:30 a.m., whichever comes first), safari guides escort guests to the African grasslands, where they will dine on a delicious breakfast that includes fruit, fresh pastries, eggs, glazed pork belly bacon and roasted gold potato hash.
The Disney Park Blog promises that, after their feast, guests will receive “a crash course in Jungle Skipper training” and then take the wheel for a private ride on the Jungle Cruise before the park opens to the public. Upon returning to civilization, guests will receive a special tribal mask inspired by the attraction’s original concept art to commemorate their adventure.
Agents should note that the price for The Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is $300 per guest (including tax and gratuity), but that Disneyland park admission is not included. At the end of the adventure, guests will be escorted out of the park and will be able to re-enter once the park opens only if they have purchased admission tickets for that day.
