Colorado’s Vail Mountain, one of the world’s largest ski resorts, is a beacon for winter-sport enthusiasts, but the fun doesn’t stop once the snow melts. During the warmer months, hiking, biking and kids’ camps are huge draws.
On June 28, the resort will debut Epic Discovery, an immersive adventure experience for thrill-seekers of all ages. On Golden Eagle Zipline, riders will soar over verdant slopes along a 1,200-foot-long line. Visitors as young as 3 years old can test their mettle, too, on the aptly named Little Eagle Zipline. Those who have a need for more speed can head to the Forest Flyer — a raised alpine coaster that zooms down 3,400 feet of mountain terrain. Summer tubing, ropes courses, a climbing tower, a wildlife exploration trail and a bungee trampoline are among other activity options.
Unlimited all-day adventure passes are priced at $89 for older children and adults, and $49 for younger children. Note that certain activities have age and/or height restrictions.
