Westin Maui Resort & Spa has long been a family favorite, but its recent property-wide renovation has taken fun in the sun to the next level with revamped waterslides, cascades and more.

The 87,000-square-foot expanse, renamed Kawaiola (“living waters”), promises days full of refreshing exploration, starting with its new family pool, which boasts an interactive splash zone, mini-waterslide, waterfall and shallow swimming area. Then there’s the improved giant waterslide, where older kids and adventurous grown-ups get their kicks as they twist, turn and plunge 270 feet.

Meanwhile, Westin has fashioned a sleek, adults-only hangout with an infinity-edge pool, a whirlpool, a bar and cabanas. There, parents can savor some downtime while their children participate in the highly rated Westin Kids Club.

Add to that some swim-through waterfalls, scenic walkways and expanded seating, and the result is a hub of sun-drenched memories.
