Aruba Hotels Renovate

Dec 05, 2011

Aruba hotels have had a busy year in 2011 with a variety of renovation projects. Some of these have recently reached completion, while others are in full swing.

The Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa’s $26 million refurbishment project was completed in October 2011. The refurbishment includes the 355-room resort's three guestroom towers and key public areas. In addition to new furnishings and decor, the resort will add new gaming equipment to its casino this month.

La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club’s three-year project to renovate the guest units from floor to ceiling was completed in September. The remodeling included brand-new tiling, furniture, appliances, artwork, LCD televisions and soft goods. In June, a soft opening revealed a new porte cochere, efficient check-in pods, a new elevator, and an eye-catching water and fire sculpture.

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa recently completed a $2 million rejuvenation to its rooms. The fully redesigned rooms have contemporary luxury bedding and Aruba landscape photos. The new deluxe bathrooms now feature a rain/waterfall shower and an amenity line with Fig & Olive products.
