Suites are set to be unveiled at Sandals Negril Beach Resort &
Spa and Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island by
summer 2007. These new suites, offering the ultimate in amenities
and luxury, will be set upon a relaxing lazy river and pool. At
Sandals Negril, 25 opulent River Suites, available in two
categories including the “Ocean’s Edge One Bedroom River Suite with
Private River Entrance” and “ Penthouse Ocean’s Edge One Bedroom
River Suite”, will become the resort’s “Sundowner Block.” Ten
stunning “St. James River Suites” will soon debut in the
appropriately named “St. James Block” at Sandals Royal Caribbean, a
resort known for embracing Jamaica’s British Colonial heritage.
The ground floor of the River Suites at both resorts will
feature a secluded patio surrounded by lush Caribbean vegetation
that opens onto the resort’s lazy river where lovers can dip their
toes into the soothing waterway. At Sandals Negril, all suites will
have stunning ocean views, and the 12 ground floor Ocean’s Edge One
Bedroom River suites will have zero-entry access to the lazy river.
Indoors, the suites will feature the ultimate in luxury,
highlighted by an expansive living room complete with a 42” plasma
television, and a separate bedroom area, with a 37” plasma
television. The patio will feature an outdoor dining area, as well
as a love seat for the ultimate in relaxation under the warm
Caribbean sun.
At Sandals Royal Caribbean, the four ground floor St. James
River Suites will have expanded patio areas with lush vegetation,
with access to the lazy river just steps away. The suites located
on the second-floor of both resorts will offer guests the
opportunity to enjoy the relaxing sounds of the trickling water
from their ocean view decks as well as the spectacular views of the
ocean and lazy river below.
Each extravagant suite is outfitted with custom furnishings and
tropically inspired décor, with a spacious bedroom with a
four-poster mahogany bed, a marvelous bathroom with marble and
hand-cut mosaic tile accents, plus a Jacuzzi tub and his and her
vanities. Additionally, the suites will come complete with a Butler
Pantry, so that the personal butler who comes with every suite will
be able to stock the room with guests’ favorite snacks and
drinks.
The lazy river, set beautifully amongst the lush landscape and
tropical vegetation on the properties, is the perfect retreat for
guests who choose to let their worries melt away in the calming
waters. The pool features hand cut glass tile and elegant wrought
iron chaise lounge chairs with bamboo accents where guests can lie
down to enjoy the sounds of the flowing river under the shade of
breezy Caribbean palms.
