Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana has released more information on its one-of-a-kind villa, The Pineapple. If luxury family travel clients have SpongeBob SquarePants-loving children, this is surely the accommodation to suggest.
Inspired by the iconic underwater home of the beloved Nickelodeon character, the world’s first pineapple villa is a two-bedroom, three-bathroom abode sure to catch the attention of any and every guest, whether they watch the cartoon or not. Renderings of the 1,500-square-foot accommodation (which offers 2,292 total square feet when including outdoor space) depict a replica of SpongeBob’s living room — complete with a puffy red chair with a lifesaver as the seat — plus artwork and decor that make guests feel like they live under the sea, too. Think: giant fishing-lure wall art and a dangling, bubble-like pod chair in the main sitting room.
Living in SpongeBob’s house doesn’t have to feel immature, though. There are plenty of parental perks. Suite guests will enjoy a private garden and patio, a signature infinity pool and private butler service. A stay here also includes the property’s Karisma Gourmet Inclusive Experience, so clients can expect gourmet a la carte meals, premium beverages and 24-hour room service.
The Pineapple Villa begins at $3,800 per night for up to four adults and two children or two adults and six children. Rates on standard rooms at the property start at $345 per adult per night, and children under 13 years old stay, eat and play free with a four-night minimum stay.
