With 22 years of management experience for the Hyatt Regency, hotel management veteran Mark Becker has recently been appointed to the general manager of the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Becker will oversee operations and take charge of the hotel’s overall vision and future direction.
Becker is acknowledged and credited for developing the Hyatt’s first Medical and Skin Spa and building its first oceanfront property partnership with Disney. He elevated the scale of previous Hyatt properties by overseeing a $36 million dollar expansion at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and leading a $20 million transformation at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota which lead to a Four Diamond rating. Becker also currently serves as an executive committee member for the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
