Leon Baum has assumed leadership at The Stafford London by Kempinski as the property’s new general manager. He has been with The Stafford London since 2006 and will now be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s renovation project as well as the launch of the new restaurant concept.
“The general manager sets the tone for a hotel and so it was important to us to ensure we found a personality that could balance upholding traditions with innovation,” said Duncan O’Rourke, COO of Kempinski Hotels. “Leon’s tenure at The Stafford ensures he understands what makes up the soul of the hotel; our secret recipe for success. This combined with his keen business sense will help us to identify opportunities for change that will result in increased profitability.”
With more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Baum has some dynamic and diverse working experiences including Dukes Hotel in London and as the previous resident manager for The Stafford.
