Island Routes Tours Expands to Include Caribbean Cruise Bookings

Jun 13, 2012

According to a recent PhoCusWright study of travel agents’ booking habits, travel agents are booking more shore excursions for their cruise clients directly with operators. Taking note of the trend, Island Routes Caribbean Adventure Tours is offering their travel agent partners turnkey booking convenience and 10 percent commission on each and every shore excursion they pre-sell in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia and the Cayman Islands.

The company offers more than 100 shore excursions, including dolphin swim and encounter programs, tee times at world-class golf courses, scuba diving, luxury catamaran cruises, zipline canopy adventures and ATV and dune buggy safaris. Tours offered have gone through a comprehensive selection process that includes an assessment of safety standards and procedures, guest satisfaction ratings, training, insurance coverage and commitment to sustainable tourism protection. Island Routes Tours also guarantees the return of your clients to the ship in time for departure.

In addition, the tour company is introducing a new way to earn with Island Routes Luxury-Included Day Pass options to select Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia and Nassau, Bahamas. The new Island Routes Luxury-Included Day Pass option can be pre-booked exclusively via travel agents for their cruise clients with an introductory offer for select resorts starting at $120 per adult and $75 for children 2-12 years old. Cruisers will enjoy roundtrip transfers from the port to the resort. Once there, they’ll have access to unlimited premium brand drinks, including Beringer wines; gourmet dining for lunch and in-between snacks, including beach grills and wood oven pizzerias; land and watersports and some of the Caribbean’s best beaches. Beaches Resorts families will also enjoy the use of supervised kids’ activities, Xbox360 play lounges, waterparks and interaction with Sesame Street Characters.

Island Routes Tours has implemented a Co-Branding System that allows all travel agents to earn commission on all pre-booked land-based tours as well as shore excursions for cruise clients. To become a preferred Island Routes Tours agent, or to sign up for the co-branding system, visit IslandRoutesTours.com/Tas; call toll free at 877-768-8370 from the U.S. and Canada or send an email to [email protected]
