Take a Walk in Jane Austen Country
The Wayfarers’ new walking tour is sure to please literature lovers. Beginning in Steventon, England, and ending in Winchester, England, the six-day Jane Austen Country walking trip takes travelers through the quaint regions that served as inspiration for much of Austen’s work.

Stopping points include the Jane Austen Museum, Oakley Hall (the hotel that inspired Mansfield Park) and Winchester cathedral, Austen’s final resting place. A discussion led by an Austen scholar and a song recital round out the Austen experience.

The trip moves at an easy pace of six to 10 miles per day on country byways, well-trodden footpaths and village lanes.

Clients can choose from three departure dates: June 27, July 25 and Aug. 29. The tour is priced at $3,595 per person, based on double occupancy.
