Wholesale tour operator Classic Vacations announced today the introduction of an upgraded multi-destination booking platform designed specifically for travel advisor partners.

The upgraded platform aims to streamline the booking process, enabling advisors to search, hold and book multi-city tours and expeditions. The new engine also now offers specialized packaging services for travel professionals looking to customize itineraries.

In addition to new features, the engine will provide access to the operator’s Preferred inventory, and “is central to our focus on innovation and adding value,” according to Melissa Krueger, CEO of Classic Vacations, in a press release.

Features of the New Booking Engine

Advisors using the booking engine have access to the following features:

- Capability to book multi-hotel, multi-room, multi-destination bookings in a single transaction

- Access to Classic Preferred and Affiliate hotels with real-time rates and inventory

- A courtesy hold of inventory during client consultations

Amy Logan, Vice President, Solutions, at Classic Vacations, said she sees “game-changing” potential with the platform.

“Imagine the possibilities this opens for our advisors,” she said. “If you have a client who wants to travel to Europe and visit several countries, which is typical — gone are the days of booking one property at a time and worrying about whether the inventory is real-time and held for you — this platform allows access to all our Preferred partner hotels and villas, plus all other global affiliate inventory together.”

“We will personally help wrap these bookings with our curated packaging service for in-destination tours, activities and more,” she added.
