Globus has launched Globus Choice Excursions, a new program that allows travelers to select from multiple included activity options during their guided tours. The initiative covers nearly 80% of the company's itineraries across Europe and North America.

The program transforms traditional tour days into customizable experiences, offering travelers options such as food tours, bike rides, cultural activities and scenic cruises. Participants can choose their preferred activities without additional cost as part of their tour package.

"Globus Choice Excursions are a bold new chapter in guided travel," said Steve Born, chief marketing officer for the Globus Family of Brands. "Research is pointing to flexibility to choose from included excursions as a major driver for the next generation of tour travelers. By giving guests more freedom and personalization than ever, we're inviting more travelers to discover the benefits of touring —  from ease and VIP access to 'wow' moments on tap."

Examples of the new choice options include selecting between a Douro River cruise or Port tasting at Sandeman Cellars in Portugal, an aperitivo stroll in Florence or taste of Tuscany food tour in Italy, a Golden Gate bike ride or Little Italy food tour in San Francisco and a Unicum liqueur tasting or thermal spa soak at Szechenyi Baths in Budapest.

The Choice Excursions program operates alongside Globus's existing tour formats, which include Classic tours, Small Group Discovery experiences, Independent City Stays and Undiscovered itineraries. Each touring style targets different traveler preferences and group sizes.

"With Globus, travelers can choose their experience — without the stress of planning," added Born. "It's guided travel that flexes around our guests."
