American travelers are showing strong interest in both iconic and emerging destinations for 2025, according to booking data from TTC Tour Brands' portfolio of travel companies, which includes Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver, Contiki, Insight Vacations, and Luxury Gold.

When compared to TTC clients’ booking behavior to 2023, Japan continues to be a standout destination, with Trafalgar reporting a 93% surge for its Classic Japan itinerary, while Insight Vacations has seen over 30% increase in demand for its Majestic Japan trip. Additionally, younger travelers are particularly drawn to Asian destinations, with Contiki experiencing a 166% increase in bookings for Southern Thai Highlights, and a 125% jump for Vietnam Highlights.

European destinations also remain popular, with several notable booking trends. Costsaver saw a 69% increase in bookings for its Italian Scene itinerary, while Luxury Gold reported a 57% rise for the Ultimate Italy trip. Post-Paris Olympics, Trafalgar's Best of France trip has seen a remarkable 139% surge in bookings.

Travelers are also showing interest in less-explored regions, with Insight Vacations' Country Roads of Northern Italy experiencing a 66% booking increase, highlighting interest in scenic landscapes like the Dolomites and Lake Como. Costsaver's Britain and Ireland Explorer and Iberian Explorer trips saw 58% and 87% increases respectively, indicating a preference for smaller cities and more intimate travel experiences.

Scandinavia is another emerging region, bolstered by its consistent top ranking in the World Happiness Report. Contiki's Scandinavia trip is up 67%, while Trafalgar's Capitals of Scandinavia trip has increased by 106%.
