Winter 2011 DineLA Restaurant Week Offers Savings

This winter, from Jan. 23-28 and from Jan. 30-Feb. 4, travelers to Los Angeles can take advantage of specially priced travel packages that combine dining deals from DineLA Restaurant Week with accommodation packages at some of the city’s more popular hotels.

DineLA Restaurant Week hotel and dining packages include: Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows/Fig Santa Monica; Hollywood Heights Hotel/The Hideout; JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live/L.A. Market; Marriott Los Angeles Downtown/Back Porch Restaurant; The Belamar, a Larkspur Hotel/Second Story Restaurant; The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club/BaleenLosAngeles; The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey/Jer-Ne Restaurant + Bar; The Standard, Downtown LA/24/7; Viceroy Santa Monica/Whist; W Hollywood/Delphine; W Los Angeles-Westwood/Ninethirty; and more. Booking capabilities will be available online shortly at the DineLA website, DineLA.com/RestaurantWeek.

DineLA Restaurant Week offers diners a choice of three dining categories — Deluxe ($16 for lunch, $26 for dinner), Premier ($22 for lunch, $34 for dinner), and Fine Dining ($28 for lunch, $44 for dinner) — with specially priced three-course meals for lunch and/or dinner at hundreds of restaurants throughout the city. Diners can choose from three options for each course including an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. It is presented by LA Inc. The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau and American Express.

This winter, DineLA is also partnering with Acura and The San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau for an “Eat Your Way From SF to LA” sweepstakes. One lucky winner and a guest will win a delicious, one-of-a-kind culinary excursion that begins in San Francisco and takes them down the California, coast culminating in an two-day stay in Los Angeles during the Winter 2011 dineLA Restaurant Week in a brand-new Acura TSX Sport Wagon.

“There couldn’t be a more exciting time to visit Los Angeles than during DineLA Restaurant Week,” says Mark Liberman, president and CEO of LA Inc. “Travelers can customize their dineLA Restaurant Week experience around a variety of tastes and budgets — from restaurants and hotels steeped in the city’s rich history to celebrity hot-spots, DineLA Restaurant Week offers dining and hotel options for everyone.”

American Express card members can register any eligible American Express card to receive a $20 statement credit when they dine three or more times during DineLA Restaurant Week at participating restaurants.
