Hyatt has selected David Udell as the new group president of the Asia Pacific (ASPAC) region. Based in Hong Kong for his new position, Udell will oversee all of Hyatt’s activities in the region and lead the ASPAC development team. He most recently served as senior vice president of operations in Hyatt’s Global Operations Center.
“David has the skills and experience necessary to lead Hyatt’s growth in ASPAC,” said Mark Hoplamazian, president and CEO of Hyatt. “He has a long history of caring for his colleagues and a commitment to achieving the best results for our business.”
