London & Partners, London's official promotional organization, has restructured the company and created new titles. Chris Gottlieb has been appointed to the new title of director of strategy, brand & communications, effective January, and Julie Chappell received a promotion to director of consumer marketing and digital.
Gottlieb will direct several departments including the Strategy, Insight & Propositions, Communications and Brand teams. In his newly created role, he aims to develop a global strategy to advance recognition of London as the world's business capital, center for talent and creativity and as a tourism destination.
"This new role will develop a city-wide strategy to deliver the promotion of London's great companies, events and individuals," said Gordon Innes, CEO of London & Partners. "With Chris' expertise and extensive brand and communications experience, we have no doubt he will be a valuable addition to our team."
Chappell, who has promoted London for the past eight years, will take on more responsibility for London & Partners' B2C marketing initiatives to visitors and potential students.
