Minor Hotel Group (MHG) announced that Robert Kunkler has been appointed senior vice president of hotel operations. Kunkler will oversee all existing Anantara properties and will be responsible for the successful opening of the brand’s future properties. He will also drive revenues and operations for the recently launched Avani brand.
“With four new Anantara properties joining the 17-strong hotel portfolio this year and an ever-growing future pipeline, plus the recent launch of the company’s Avani brand, I am very happy to be joining Minor Hotel Group at such a key time in the company’s expansion,” said Kunkler.
Kunkler previously served as the regional vice president for operations in Dubai for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.
