MSC Cruises has appointed Hans Hesselberg as senior vice president of hotel operations. He will oversee the vessel procedures for MSC Cruises in the Caribbean and the operations of MSC Divina, the line’s first ship focused solely on North American consumers. Previously, Hesselberg held various positions at Costa Cruise Lines, including vice president, operations for the Americas and more recently, head of hotel operations.
“Hesselberg’s distinguished career of more than 40 years in the industry makes him uniquely qualified to contribute to our commitment to deliver a product that appeals to the North American market,” said Richard E. Sasso, president of MSC Cruises USA.
