VisitBritain has appointed Sally Balcombe to act as CEO. Balcombe has held a multitude of positions in the travel industry, most recently serving as a board member of VisitBritain, governor of the Museum of London, commissioner of English Heritage and non-executive director of Mr & Mrs Smith.
“This has to be the most exciting tourism marketing job in the world,” said Christopher Rodrigues, chairman of VisitBritain. “Sally inherits a great team that has shown it can deliver results and ensure Britain remains competitive in international markets.”
