On Feb. 13, Preferred Travel of Naples, Inc. held its annual charity event at The Club Pelican Bay. This year’s event, An Evening of Cultural Celebrations, featured guest speakers such as Michelle Morgan, president and CEO of Signature Travel Network, as well as Signature’s executive vice president Alex Sharpe and vice president Shary Dyer. Also in attendance were Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas; Ken Watson, executive vice president and COO of Silversea Cruises; and Stephen Tucker, vice president of Silversea. Topics discussed ranged from world travel by private jet to African safaris and luxury cruises.
With more than 550 guests and nearly 50 Preferred Travel luxury travel partners from around the world represented, attendance at the event was up by 74 percent from last year’s showcase. The organization also raised $25,000 for The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, bringing Preferred Travel’s total number of charitable contributions to almost $72,000.
