Rina Anoussi, a top travel agent with Tzell Travel Group and owner of The Travel Business, an agency under Tzell Travel Group, passed away on Oct. 25 after battling brain cancer. Anoussi spent nearly 28 years at Tzell, honing her expertise on luxury and adventure travel. The 40-year travel industry veteran spoke six languages; developed close personal relationships with some of the world’s most prestigious hoteliers and destination management companies; and was partial to traveling off the beaten path. Anoussi is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Takis Anoussis, her son, Doron Tal, and her godson, Max Irons.
In a statement, Barry Liben, CEO of Travel Leaders Group, which includes Tzell Travel, said that Anoussi’s “unparalleled contributions significantly shaped what Tzell has become today.”
