Ali Daniels was recently appointed vice president of marketing for Visit Seattle, after serving as the organization’s director of marketing since May 2011. As vice president, Daniels joins the organization’s leadership team and directs the marketing department. She is in charge of planning and implementing marketing initiatives spanning the conventional and travel leisure markets, and she also oversees the marketing activities for the Seattle Tourism Improvement Area (STIA), a marketing fund aiming to grow Seattle’s tourism market share.
In her former position as director of marketing, Daniels developed short- and long-term marketing strategies, increased Visit Seattle’s brand recognition and raised awareness of Seattle as a prime destination.
