Registration is now open for Tourism Cares’ first-ever Power of Partnership Stewardship Summit, taking place Oct. 15-18 in Richmond, Va. The event, which was established in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Economic Alliance, The Travel Foundation and the U.S. Cultural Heritage & Marketing Council, looks to unite travel advisors, destinations, tour operators and other industry professionals who are seeking to build a more sustainable and responsible future for the travel industry.

Attendees will participate in sessions on driving economic development, destination stewardship, regenerative tourism’s impact on local communities and much more.

Our Analysis: Advisors Will Immerse Themselves in a Sustainable Experience

As the premier nonprofit for the travel industry, Tourism Cares has a long legacy of making travel more beneficial to people and the planet. In addition to the educational and networking aspects of this event, it will also include ways to get involved with the local community — including off-site cultural tours and experiences, as well as volunteer projects within Richmond.

By attending the event, advisors and suppliers will be able to tap into the organization’s significant resources as a way to support and implement more sustainable travel practices.

Fast Facts: Learn From Experts in Cultural Tourism, Destination Stewardship and More

Conference sessions include:
- Driving Economic Development to Heritage Neighborhoods
- Leveraging Brand Equity to Create Meaningful and Immersive Experiences
- Implementing Effective and Sustainable DEI and ESG Strategies
