Last fall, TravelAge West launched a first-of-its-kind travel advisor event called Future Leaders in Travel Retreat. The Retreat was recently named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the Brand & Experiences — Launch Event category and a Bronze Stevie in the Brand & Experiences — Interactive Outdoor Event category in the 17th Annual American Business Awards.
Why It Matters
The Retreat is the first industry event created especially for millennial travel advisors and suppliers. Considering how this age group prefers to network and learn, the TravelAge West team came up with a fresh model filled with outdoor networking adventures, destination immersion and collaborative learning sessions.
