What:At its recent annual conference held in Palm Springs, Calif., attended by more than 900 members, Ensemble Travel Group announced a global expansion of the organization into Australia and New Zealand.
Why It Matters:This new move by Ensemble is exciting, as the organization has already shown its ability to grow across international markets through its successful expansion into Canada. According to co-president Lindsay Pearlman, the group’s expansion to Australia and New Zealand will open up new revenue streams for members. Heading up the initiative is new senior vice president and general manager Trish Shepherd, a 30-year travel industry veteran with a successful track record with American Express in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
