What:
As of this month, LOT Polish Airlines commenced its new nonstop service from Los Angeles to Warsaw, Poland. LOT offers the flight four times per week onboard its Boeing 787 Dreamliners. This is the first connection from Poland to the West Coast of the U.S.
Why It Matters:
Previously, Eastern and Central Europe were best reached via connections in crowded hubs in Western Europe. Now, West Coast-based travelers have a direct and comfortable option — the flight takes just 12 hours from LAX. From Warsaw, clients can travel throughout the region to multiple cities in Poland and beyond.
Fast Facts:
- LOT’s Dreamliners will fly from Los Angeles on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
- Clients can choose from LOT Business Class, LOT Premium Class and LOT Economy Class.
- L.A. is the eighth long-haul connection in LOT’s network and its fifth destination in North America.
- LOT is a Star Alliance member.
What They’re Saying:
“We have great ambitions to be Central Europe’s gateway to the world,” said Rafal Milczarski, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. “We are proud to have inaugurated this flight to Los Angeles.”
