Early registration for LGBT Confex’s 4th International LGBT Expo has ended, and travel industry representatives make up a large percentage of the approximately 30 entities registered. Destinations that will attend the expo include the Czech Republic, Berlin, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Puerto Rico and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Hard Rock Hotels and Marriott International will also participate, among other international hotels.
The International LGBT Business Expo aims to help businesses better target the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. According to LGBT Confex, LGBT consumers make up an estimated six percent of the Latin America travel market.
Since its inaugural event in 2011, the LGBT Business Expo has doubled in size. This year’s event will take place at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa in Vallarta-Nayarit, Mexico, and interested exhibitors and buyers can register online. Discounted rates from the host hotel, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico, United Airlines and Canada Air are available to registrants.
