The Kenya Tourism Board recently enhanced its Magical Kenya Travel Specialist Program to include new courses for travel advisors.
Launched in March 2021, the Magical Kenya Travel Specialist Program’s e-learning platform aims to educate advisors about the travel opportunities in Kenya. Once agents complete the program, they become Certified Kenya Travel Specialists.
This is an excellent way of equipping the travel trade with knowledge on the destination’s experiences and products to enable them to sell Kenya effectively to their clients.
New courses, added as of Nov. 4, 2021, include modules on sustainable travel in Kenya; magical Kenya signature experiences; demand segments; and a deep dive into the uniquely diverse Kenya territories.
Advisors who complete the new courses will be recognized as Gold Certified Kenya Travel Specialists and will have a host of opportunities and perks, including inclusion on fam trips; opportunities to engage in peer-to-peer learning and advice; and access to in-market programs, among other rewards.
