To meet growing summer demand from the West Coast, EVA Air is
increasing its flights from several key hubs including Los Angeles,
Seattle and San Francisco.
Beginning March 27, the airline’s Los AngelesTaipei route will
increase from 14 to 17 flights per week, with EVA flight BR01
departing Los Angeles International at 1 a.m. every Monday, Friday
and Saturday and arriving at Taipei’s Chiang Kai-Shek International
at 5:50 a.m. the next day.
A new return flight, BR02 will leave Taipei at 7:40 p.m. every
Monday, Friday and Saturday and arrive in Los Angeles at 4:20 p.m.
the same day.
From Seattle, EVA is introducing dedicated Taipei service June 6.
Flight BR25 will depart Seattle on Tuesdays at 2:10 a.m. and arrive
at CKS at 5:30 a.m. one day later. Return flight BR26 will leave
CKS on Mondays (starting on June 5) at 11:40 p.m. and arrive in
Seattle at 7:20 p.m. the same day. EVA will also continue
six-day-a-week service that flies Taipei-Seattle-Newark.
A week later, EVA will boost service between San Francisco and
Taipei one flight, putting the weekly total at 12 flights. With a
Wednesday trip to be added, BR27 departs San Francisco at 5:50 p.m.
and arrives at CKS at 10:10 p.m. the following day. EVA BR28
departs CKS at 11:30 p.m. and arrives in San Francisco at 7:55 p.m.
the same day.
EVA plans to introduce its new Boeing 777 aircraft featuring
roomier cabins and onboard high-tech features on U.S.-Taipei routes
later this year, including Los Angeles, Seattle, New York and San
Francisco, as well as to Paris.
EVA also is offering its Evergreen Club frequent flyers a special
“Check-in for a Chance of a Million” program. Through June 15,
Evergreen Club members who book, buy and fly in EVA’s Super First,
Super Business and Premium Laurel Classes will be automatically
entered in a lottery to win a million award points.
One winner will be selected each month by EVA’s computer system and
a total of three will be selected. The one million points will be
awarded on April 20, May 20 and June 20 to passengers who have
traveled during each of the designated 30-day periods.
