Inspired by Japanese Princess Sayako’s marriage to
a civilian which includes abandoning all royal perks and lifestyle
Tokyo’s Hotel Seiyo Ginza has created the Seiyo Princess package,
offering the opportunity to experience the life of a Japanese
princess.
The four-day, $9,770 package includes the Ginza
Suite, which offers 24-hour private butler service, a limo and
driver, Japanese breakfast, and a kimono rental and fitting at
Hatsuko Endo Beauty Studio (the kimono maker for Japanese
royalty).
Clients will learn the art of hosting a traditional
Japanese Tea Ceremony and Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower
arrangement. Other royal treatments include a tour of Tokyo by
rickshaw, an in-room reflexology treatment and dinner at Hotel
Seiyo Ginza’s Attore restaurant, a favorite of the Prime Minister
Junichiro Koizumi.
