On May 12, the South Australian Tourism Commission hosted a 75-minute Virtual Product Showcase for North American travel industry partners to virtually “meet” with a select group of South Australian suppliers in order to share up-to-date information about the destination.
During the Zoom event — which was attended by such Aussie suppliers as Kangaroo Island Wilderness Tours, See Adelaide & Beyond, Sea Dragon Lodge & Villas, North Adelaide Heritage Group and more — guests viewed short presentations and attended a virtual speed dating session.
The event began with an introduction from Rodney Harrex, chief executive of the South Austrailan Tourism Commission.
South Australia is known as the “WOW” state (which stands for wildlife, outback and wine), three pillars that were reoccurring themes during the operators’ presentations.
