Oceania Cruises
Oceania’s world cruise — departing roundtrip from San Francisco, Calif., on Jan. 15, 2023 — will encompass 180 days, four continents, 33 countries and 96 ports of call. Accessible along the way will be more than 60 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

“The response to our epic 2023 around-the-world voyage clearly illustrates the enthusiasm that experienced travelers have for immersive and memorable travel experiences,” said Bob Binder, president and CEO of Oceania, in a press release. “Despite the challenges the world faces today, travelers are clearly bullish on the future and are embracing these new opportunities to travel the world and create lifelong memories.”

Of particular note, more than one-third of the world cruise bookings came from new-to-Oceania guests.

It’s clear that customers are looking further into the future as Oceania is also seeing strong demand for its 2022 collection of long-haul European and North American voyages lasting weeks and even months.

Seabourn Cruise Line and Silversea Cruises
Similarly, Seabourn Cruise Line is citing heavy booking levels for its 2022 world cruise — which is available up to 145 days in length or as shorter segments — from Los Angeles on Jan. 11, 2022.

“We are really encouraged by the tremendous amount of positive interest and bookings for our 2022 World Cruise, which clearly demonstrates that now is the time to consider a booking, rather than later on when suite availability may be limited or even sold out,” said Steve Smotrys, vice president of global sales for Seabourn, in a press release.

The luxury line has also made its own 2023 world cruise and grand voyage available to sell. The world cruise will span 140 days, 61 destinations and 32 countries, from Miami to Barcelona, Spain, starting on Jan. 6, 2023. And the shorter 79-day grand voyage will feature the Americas, the Amazon and Antarctica roundtrip from Miami, also departing on Jan. 6, 2023.

“Given these uncertain times, our guests have asked Seabourn to offer travel options further into the future,” said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn, in a press release. “With the 2023 World Cruise and Grand Voyage, we open options well into 2023 for future planning.”

Silversea Cruises is another luxury line boasting its 2023 world cruise, this time a 139-night journey from Sydney to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., departing on May 28, 2023. Titled “South Side Story – All the World’s A Stage,” the voyage will showcase 66 destinations and 34 countries including New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Madagascar, the West Coast of Africa and more.

“As well as devising a groundbreaking itinerary, we have introduced unprecedented features for the World Cruise 2023, such as our new door-to-door service, which will enhance the seamlessness of guests’ journeys,” said Barbara Muckermann, Silversea’s chief marketing officer, in a press release.

Holland America Line and Princess Cruises
For clients with tighter budgets, premium brands Holland America Line (HAL) and Princess Cruises are promoting their future world cruise offerings as well.

In 2022, HAL will highlight its Grand Africa Voyage — a 71-day cruise to the likes of Aqaba, Jordan; Cape Town, South Africa; Zanzibar, Tanzania; and Victoria, Seychelles roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 10, 2022.

Then in 2023, Grand South America & Antarctica will clock 74 days circumnavigating the continent roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 3, 2023. And its epic 127-day Grand World Voyage will travel to 61 ports in 30 countries, also roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 3, 2023.

For Princess, a 111-day 2023 world cruise sails roundtrip from both Ft. Lauderdale and Los Angeles (97 days if ending in Florida), and will transport guests to 50 destinations across a total of 31 countries. The voyage will depart Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 5, 2023, and from Los Angeles on Jan. 19, 2023. The route will be traversed onboard the interactive OceanMedallion-equipped Island Princess.

Princess also just announced a second world cruise for 2023 aboard sister ship Coral Princess, roundtrip from three Australia home ports: departing Auckland on May 31, 2023; Sydney on June 4, 2023; and Brisbane on June 6, 2023. The trip will be 107 days long and visit 44 destinations in 26 countries.
