Golf aficionados will have the chance to golf at some of the
world’s most famous courses on two Crystal Cruises this year.
Crystal Symphony’s 11-day British Isles cruise departs from
Copenhagen on August 23, 2005. The trip will include the
opportunity to play at the famed Gleneagles King’s Course
(Edinburgh, Scotland), Mount Juliet (Belfast, Ireland), Portmarnock
Links (Dublin, Ireland), and Royal County Down (Waterford,
Ireland).
The second golf themed voyage is a Canary Islands cruise
scheduled for October 25, 2005, aboard Crystal Serenity. The 12-day
journey from Barcelona, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal includes optional
play at the Réal Club de Campo Malaga (Granada, Spain),
Montecastillo Golf Resort (Seville, Spain), Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam
(Casablanca, Morocco), Réal Club de Golf de Tenerife (Canary
Islands, Spain), and Penha Longa Golf Course (Lisbon,
Portugal).
Crystal has also announced that TaylorMade is the line’s
official golf club. Crystal’s golf program includes right and left
handed clubs for men and women, as well as golf clinics, PGA golf
