Its traditional trips in Russia and Ukraine, including cruises from Moscow to St. Petersburg, are supplemented this year with exciting cruises to the Russian Far East and the North Pole, a 13-day Russian National Orchestra Cruise and the once-in-a-lifetime Russian Solar Eclipse Package.

“Our clients are baby boomers and senior citizens. They have seen the world and seek a new adventure,” said Alexander Bout, president of Imperial River Cruises. “They are sophisticated destination travelers seeking the greatest sights of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ukraine, the Golden Ring cities, history and cultural heritage.

“Imperial River Cruises’ main commitments are a unique and quality product, unbeatable prices and commission structures and customer service before, during and after the journey a combination guaranteed to ensure satisfaction for travelers and travel agents alike,” said Bout.

The trip includes a land package that features sightseeing and an overnight train between Russia’s two capitals, then a flight to the capital of Russia’s scientific community for what the poet Milton called the “disastrous twilight” that “perplexes monarchs.”

All the Imperial River Cruise motor-ships are modern, specially designed for inland waterway and sea cruising, and all cabins are outside. Cruises range from 10 to 20 days, are fully guided, and include all meals, varying amenities, sightseeing in each port of call and live entertainment aboard. Prices range from $1,650 to $2,450, and from $4,250 for the 10-day Far East cruise.

Early Pay Discount applies to those who pay in full before Oct. 30. Savings is $500 per couple ($250 per person) off cruise rates. Book and deposit before Dec. 15 to save $300 per couple ($150 per person).

Rates are fully commissionable. IRC cooperates either on net or commission basis. Itineraries can be created for individuals or special groups, such as religious, professional or academic organizations.
