It’s never too soon to start looking at a sailing to the Great Land. Several brands that frequent Alaska are already gearing up for the coming seasons, and we’ve got the scoop on what you need to know.
American Cruise Lines
In 2025, American Cruise Lines plans to double its Alaska capacity by repositioning the 170-passenger American Constitution, which will join sister ship American Constellation. The intimate vessel will navigate five separate itineraries, including a pair of new routes: 19-day Grand Alaska National Parks and 16-day Alaska National Parks.
The longer of the two itineraries will combine seven days of exploration in Denali and Kenai Fjords National parks with a 12-day cruise through Glacier Bay National Park, the Inside Passage, Frederick Sound and the Wrangell Narrows. The shorter itinerary will offer a week in the parks, plus a nine-day cruise sailing through Glacier Bay and the Wrangell Narrows.
Cunard
In 2026, Cunard will return to Alaska, with Queen Elizabeth sailing 15 roundtrip voyages from Seattle between May and September. Trip lengths will range from seven to 12 nights, and hit points of interest such as Ketchikan, Juneau, Haines, Glacier Bay National Park and Hubbard Glacier.
“Alaska is a truly unique destination, and we’re delighted to return with our 2026 program,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “Sailing through its spectacular fjords and seeing the immense glaciers is an experience like no other. Onboard, guests can sip regionally inspired cocktails, enjoy cuisine influenced by local flavors and hear fascinating stories from renowned explorers.”
Holland America Line
As for Holland America Line, Cunard’s corporate cousin, the brand has five new Legendary Voyages scheduled for the 2026-2027 season, three of which feature Alaska. The 28-day Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice features 13 ports in British Columbia and Alaska, including late-night calls in Valdez and Juneau, an overnight stay in Anchorage and day visits to Nome and Dutch Harbor. Meanwhile, the 27- and 28-day Legendary Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii itineraries will uniquely touch on both Alaska and the tropical islands.
"Interest in longer cruises continues to grow, and these newest Legendary Voyages deliver with unique itineraries that delve deep into popular and harder-to-reach parts of the world,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and analytics for Holland America Line. “These voyages build on our commitment to offer cruises that let our guests linger longer and connect with the destination in a more intimate way.”
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection
Come 2026, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will enter Alaska with new luxury super-yacht Luminara. Between May and September, the ship will depart on a total of 13 sailings to 11 ports of call in Alaska and Canada, ranging from seven to 11 nights in length. Highlights will include extended stays in Sitka and Valdez in Alaska and in Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as journeys to view Tracy Arm Fjord and Sawyer Glacier; Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier; Hubbard Glacier and Icy Strait Point.
“Our new Alaska itineraries offer a new and unparalleled way to explore the remarkable region by sea, combining access to secluded destinations and remote wonders with the comfort of ultra-luxury accommodations and personalized service,” said Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “The intimate size of Luminara allows us to visit smaller, less-traveled ports, providing our guests with a more immersive way to experience Alaska’s natural beauty and wildlife.”
Seabourn
Seabourn’s luxurious Seabourn Quest will also make its maiden visit to Alaska. From May to September this year, it will depart on 18 weeklong departures sailing between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Juneau. Northbound and southbound cruises can also be combined for 14-day voyages roundtrip from Vancouver.
The line’s Ventures by Seabourn program will further enhance the experience, with optional opportunities to kayak around Hubbard Glacier, hike the Rainbow Falls Trail in Wrangell and take a Zodiac cruise to the Sawyer or Dawes glaciers.
“Alaska is a destination that evokes awe and wonder, and our 2025 season is designed to immerse our guests in its unparalleled beauty and cultural heritage in a way that only Seabourn can provide,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “With our Ventures by Seabourn expedition experiences, we’re offering guests an exclusive opportunity to connect deeply with Alaska and British Columbia’s natural wonders when they sail with Seabourn.”
