Azamara Cruises Launches New Reservation System for Travel Advisors

Azamara Cruises has introduced a new global reservation system called RezA, designed to enhance the booking process for travel advisors. The system is part of the cruise line's "Listening, Learning, and Linking" initiative aimed at improving relationships with travel partners.

RezA incorporates several features based on direct feedback from travel agents. These include the ability to send payment links to clients, expedited commission payments through a "Pay in Full" option and advisor recognition at the reservation level. The system also offers tools for group bookings, automated payment reminders and easy duplication of reservations for customers traveling together.

"We never stop looking for ways to better support our travel advisors, and are confident that this update reflects their feedback and this commitment," said Michelle Lardizabal, Azamara Cruises' chief sales officer. "Once educated on RezA, advisors tell us how much they love the platform's intuitive design to quickly make a booking and how easy it is to use. It's saving our advisors a phone call and improving the way they interact with their clients, which is exactly what they've asked for."

The name RezA was selected through a "Name It to Win It" contest, which received over 500 entries from travel advisors. The original name, RezAmara, was later shortened to RezA.

Travel advisors can access the new system through Azamara's dedicated travel advisor portal, Connect.Azamara.com. It also provides marketing content and assets for advisors to share with clients, as well as access to the relaunched Azamara World Academy.

To familiarize advisors with RezA, Azamara will offer webinars and training sessions.
