When MSC Cruises’ upcoming MSC World Europa sets sail in December 2022, it will boast a total of 33 restaurants, bars and lounges.

“The food and beverage experience onboard MSC World Europa — much like the ship itself — has been designed with the future in mind,” said Jacques Van Staden, vice president of food and beverage for MSC Cruises.

“From sustainable sourcing and fresh farm-to-ocean ingredients, we have pulled out all the stops to offer a varied and unabridged dining offering for the next-generation cruiser,” Staden said. “Each new concept aims to go beyond what traditional venues achieved in the past and focuses on crafted, artisanal and immersive experiences that will revolutionize the place dining holds in the overall cruise experience. We are eager for guests to discover what we have in store and savor the world while traveling with us.”

MSC World Europa’s Restaurants

Among World Europa’s 13 restaurants will be returning favorites and the following three new concepts:

Chef’s Garden Kitchen will comprise an open chef’s table kitchen and a backdrop of seasonal hydroponic microgreens grown right onboard, which will be featured in the fresh dishes served there. La Pescaderia will showcase seafood in a market-like atmosphere, where guests can select whole fish from a display to be prepared along with Mediterranean appetizers. And Luna Park Pizza & Burger will be a buffet of American classics, such as “Coney dogs,” salted pretzels and funnel cake.

Meanwhile, MSC loyalists will appreciate the return of the Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar and Hola! Tacos & Cantina. Main dining is available at the Bubbles, La Foglia, Esagono and Hexagon restaurants, as well as Mercato Buffet and La Brasserie Buffet. Les Dunes Restaurant is exclusive to Aurea guests.

Onboard Bars and Lounges

Additionally, there are 20 bar and lounge concepts on World Europa, including seven that are new to MSC.

Coffee Emporium will be an extensive international coffee roaster where passengers will be able to choose their preferred beans (a signature Lavazza bean will even be roasted on the ship), brewing style and type of service, such as French, Italian, Turkish and Moroccan. Similarly, Raj Polo Tea House will be a tea equivalent, highlighting Indian and English tea traditions in a tropical environment.

Masters of the Sea will be a new double-decker British-style pub also newly featuring an onboard microbrewery crafting MSC Signature beers on the ship. The Gin Project will pour more than 70 craft gins and serve gin-based cocktails. For bubbly, The Fizz-Champagne Bar will offer an expansive bottle selection. And Elixir-Mixology Bar will be the spot for downing bespoke cocktails and also tasting spirits at an outdoor wake-view terrace.
