On March 16, TravelAge West will host its first virtual Family Travel Expo where industry suppliers, associations and destinations are set to share some of the trends that will influence this important market in 2021.

Created in partnership with the Family Travel Association (FTA) and Visit California, the event will bring together a range of sponsors, including Club Med, the Dude Ranchers Association, Hotel Xcaret, Palladium Hotel Group, Riu Hotels & Resorts, Visit Lauderdale and others.

The event is focused on sharing information with advisors, and will include three webinars over the course of the day. The first, titled “Forecasting Summer Travel – What Does a Q3 Recovery Look Like?” will offer an in-depth look at the expected return of travel in the second half of 2021. What will be open? What changes can families expect? How are suppliers preparing to welcome travelers back? Will testing be an issue? The webinar will be moderated by Ken Shapiro, Family Travel Association Board President and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of TravelAge West. Panelists will include representatives from the FTA, the Dude Ranchers Association, Visit California and others to be announced.

The event will include three webinars over the course of the day, plus the opportunity for attendees to win travel prizes.
