My Little Pony and Transformers Join Carnival Cruise Line's Playtime

Kids onboard Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Imagination can attend the first-ever “Carnival Playtime” event — an expansion of the line’s Hasbro partnership — when they sail on three- and four-day voyages departing from Long Beach, Calif., en route to Ensenada, Mexico.

Carnival Playtime will feature characters from the "My Little Pony" television show and "Transformers" movie series and feature activities such as themed games, face painting, prizes and more. Children will also have a chance to meet and take pictures with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from "Transformers," as well as Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle from "My Little Pony." A special screening of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" will be shown onboard. 

The event will take place between July 13 and Sept. 17.
