In an effort to revive the tourism industry in the Maldives,
Angsana Maldives Ihuru, the internationally renowned luxury resort
and spa operator, has unveiled a special “Return to Maldives”
promotion.
Through May 31, guests staying four nights pay only for three
nights at published rates starting at $510 per villa per night at
the resort on Ihuru. The island is one of the most picturesque
islands in the tropical Maldives with palm-fringed beaches,
crystalline waters and a pristine reef.
To further pamper guests, Angsana Spa Maldives Ihuru is offering
a complimentary spa treatment with every a la carte spa treatment
and daily breakfast and dinner at the resort, located on the North
Malé Atoll just 20 minutes by speedboat from Malé, the capital of
Maldives and the Malé International Airport. The special package
also includes complimentary return speedboat transfers.
Angsana Maldives Ihuru features 45 thatched-roof villas, each
decorated in a mix of tropical and contemporary styles, complete
with private gardens, verandas with Maldivian swings, and outdoor
showers. Ten villas have private Jacuzzis.
The beachfront resort, which successfully weathered a
devastating tsunami earlier this year, offers a range of
recreational activities, from snorkeling, windsurfing and scuba
