DestinationWeddings.com has announced the winners of the inaugural Desti Awards, an annual awards program acknowledging top-performing resort and destination partners in the destination and romance travel market, according to DestinationWeddings.com customer feedback. The Desti Awards were presented at Tianguis Turistico in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, on March 24 at Vallarta Palace.
Winners of the 2011 Desti Awards include Beaches Turks & Caicos, Caribbean; El Dorado Casitas Royale, Riviera Maya; Excellence Playa Mujeres, Cancun; Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta; Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Pueblo Bonito Sunset, Cabo San Lucas; and Sandals Royal Plantation, Jamaica.
