I am thrilled to welcome you to the new TravelAge West. Beginning
with this issue, we are re-creating TravelAge West to focus more
completely on the issues and opportunities of selling travel
products. While maintaining our dedication to quality editorial
content, the staff at TravelAge West launches a new design and
approach to delivering the critical information agents need to
become better salespeople of travel products.
As you have most certainly noticed, TravelAge West will now be
printed at a tabloid size. This format will allow us to provide you
with a stronger, more compelling package as well as a much bolder
design. TravelAge West will also be published bi-weekly. This
allows our staff the time necessary to prepare the quality
information that the travel industry needs. To achieve this end,
Theresa Norton Masek (formerly Cruise Editor) has been appointed
Executive Editor. She will be ably assisted by Kenneth Shapiro,
Destinations Editor.
This dynamic transformation would not be complete without you.
