Capella Ixtapa, Capella’s first Mexican property set to open on Nov. 15, has selected Romana Heeg as general manager.
Heeg brings nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including roles with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa in Bermuda and the Colony Club Hotel in Barbados, among others.
"Romana Heeg has truly distinguished herself over the course of her career, and it is a great pleasure to welcome her to the Capella Hotels and Resorts team," said Bob Warman, executive vice president and COO of Capella Hotels and Resorts.
