Carmen Corvos-Roig has been named director of strategic alliances and key accounts for Costa Cruise Lines, North America. Most recently, she was business development director for Carnival Cruise Lines, overseeing the Miami-Dade region of Florida.
Corvos-Roig began her career with Carnival 28 years ago in embarkation and reservations while attending the University of Miami, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. During her time with Carnival, she was named salesperson of the year and was consistently ranked among the top 10 sales representatives for the company.
"I know firsthand from working with Carmen over the years just how dynamic and driven she is as a sales professional and am thrilled to have her on the team," said Scott Knutson, Costa Cruise Lines vice president of sales. "She is such a natural fit for the position with the relationships she’s built over the years with so many national accounts.
